Jim Brittain is an experienced professional in equipment management and vehicle safety with a diverse background in the transport and construction sectors. Currently serving as an Equipment Management Expert at Roughton International Ltd, Jim Brittain provides critical support to state-owned enterprises in enhancing equipment procurement and maintenance practices. Previous roles include Vehicle Safety (Inspection) Specialist at FRED Engineering and Mechanical Engineer – Institutional Reform Specialist at Cardno - IT Transport, where Jim Brittain conducted comprehensive reviews and developed strategic action plans to improve operational efficiency and safety. Additionally, Jim Brittain has played key roles in road safety initiatives for the African Development Bank and has designed training programs in Uganda for heavy equipment mechanics.
