Ilona Meernik

Ilona Meernik has over two decades of experience in journalism and online editorial roles. Currently, Meernik serves as Redacteur Plus & Gezondheidsnet and Webredacteur for Roularta Media Nederland since February 2022. Prior to this, Meernik worked as a Webredacteur for GezondheidsNet from April 2008 to February 2022. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Online Eindredacteur for KPN, where responsibilities involved managing various websites and overseeing editorial teams from February 2001 to March 2008. Meernik's career began as a Redacteur Item Regisseur at Holland Media House and as a Redacteur / Verslaggever at Omroep Flevoland. Meernik earned a Bachelor's degree in journalism from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht between 1993 and 1999.
