Naysan Mojgani

Naysan Mojgani is an experienced dramaturg and artistic professional currently serving as a Dramaturgical & Artistic Advisor, Associate Artistic Director, and Associate Artist at Round House Theatre since January 2021. With a solid background in theater, Naysan has been self-employed as a freelance dramaturg, writer, and teacher since September 2017. Previous roles include Literary Manager at Arena Stage from May 2018 to January 2021, and Assistant to the Director of Development/Stewardship Coordinator at La Jolla Playhouse from January 2015 to September 2017. Naysan holds a PhD in Theatre and Drama from UC San Diego (2008-2015) and a BA in Theatre Arts from Carleton College (2002-2006). Additional experience includes roles in election administration and education, as well as editorial work in theater-related publications.
