Caspar Norman

Trustee at Roundhouse Trust

Caspar is a co-founder of the Roundhouse Trust.

Between a degree in philosophy and a Masters in International Relations, he worked as a copywriter for TBWA/Holmes Knight Ritchie, then for a foreign affairs think-tank and lobbying group, The Safer World Foundation, concentrating on arms control and conflict management. In 1995 he helped set up a property insurance company in Scotland and London.

He left to set up the Roundhouse with Torquil Norman, first as the Norman Trust, which owns the Roundhouse and managed its activities until 2000, then as a founding trustee and first Events Director of the Roundhouse Trust. He stepped down a short period after the Roundhouse reopened.

He remains a trustee of the Roundhouse and the Norman Trust, as well as a trustee of the Pound Arts Centre and Rural Arts, Wiltshire. He is a director of Genie Toys.

He currently lives in Wiltshire, writes books and advises on various social enterprises, usually with young people, old buildings and events at their core.
