Amber Novotny-Vesely

Amber Novotny-Vesely has a diverse and extensive work experience. Amber is currently working as a Creative Director at Firespring since 2022. From 2017 to 2022, they held multiple roles at the College of Saint Mary, including Director of Creative Strategy, Graphic Designer and Publication Coordinator, and Senior Director of Marketing.

Before that, they worked as a Freelance Designer from 2002 to 2021. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Lead Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Coordinator at Alvine Engineering, where they led creative and marketing efforts for three distinct brands.

Amber also worked at the Eastern Nebraska Baptist Association from 2008 to 2014 as a Creative Specialist & Operations Coordinator, where they developed brand-focused designs and strategies for partner organizations. Amber also managed staff and volunteers.

Their experience also includes working as a Contracted Marketing Assistant/Designer at The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center from 2009 to 2013, where they designed marketing collateral for a culturally diverse community. Amber was a Graphic Designer & Office Manager at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in 2007, where they executed design trends and managed events.

Amber's earlier experience includes working as a Lead Graphic Designer at Lead Group Design from 2004 to 2007, an Intern at Unisource Worldwide, Inc. in 2001, and a Graphic Design Intern at the University of Nebraska Medical Center also in 2001.

Amber Novotny-Vesely obtained an Associate Degree in Graphic Design from the Creative Center, College of Art & Design, which they attended from 2000 to 2002.
