Yanying Li (Vanessa)

Yanying (Vanessa) Li has extensive experience as a Senior Data Scientist at Rouse Services, LLC, since March 2016, where Yanying developed scraping procedures, built data collection tools, and created statistical models for estimating used equipment values. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, assisting in teaching introductory statistics and conducting exam proctoring. Yanying also completed an internship in Strategy Development at Huaxi Futures Co., Ltd., focusing on quantitative trading strategies, and worked as an Assistant Consultant at the Statistical Consulting Center, where Yanying summarized projects and presented statistical analyses. Yanying holds a Master’s Degree in Statistics from the University of California Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics from Pennsylvania State University, along with participation in an exchange program at the University of Bath.
