Jake Schroeder

Jake Schroeder has extensive work experience in information security and IT management. Jake is currently working at Route as the Head of Information Security, Senior Director. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Information Security, Director at Route. Before joining Route, Jake worked at HireVue as the Senior Director of Information Security and previously as the Director of Information Security. At HireVue, they were responsible for architecting and implementing security controls, leading confidential investigations, and overseeing security incident response. Jake also served as the Infrastructure Security Manager, ensuring the resolution of vulnerabilities and conducting penetration testing. Before HireVue, Jake worked at Wavelink as an Information Technology Manager, responsible for IT security, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Jake also worked at ADP Lightspeed as a Client Technical Specialist, providing support for UNIX servers and assisting with data conversion. Overall, Jake's experience spans a wide range of information security and IT management roles.

Jake Schroeder's education history begins in the year 2000 when they enrolled at Rick's College. Jake studied Business Administration there until 2003.

Following this, they attended ITT Technical Institute-Murray from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Security.

Additionally, Jake has several certifications. In June 2011, they became a Certified Ethical Hacker through the EC-Council. In December 2014, they obtained the GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) certification, as well as the GIAC Advisory Board membership. In 2015, they achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In January 2016, they gained the GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) certification. Lastly, in March 2019, they obtained the GIAC Python Coder (GPYC) certification from GIAC Certifications.
