Josh Spencer

Josh Spencer has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Software Engineer II at Route. In this role, they designed and implemented a full stack application that maps parcel tracking updates to uniform statuses. The application can handle a high volume of requests, exceeding 7,000,000 per day.

Prior to their current role, Josh worked as a Software Engineer at CallCorp from August 2019 to January 2022.

Before that, Josh was a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University, where they contributed to the development and deployment of a game engine. Josh also participated in a research study on robotic proficiency self-assessment, collaborating with colleagues from Carnegie Mellon University.

Aside from their technical roles, Josh gained experience as a Student Intern at Honeywell in 2019 and worked as a Dock Hand at DOC WARNERS ALASKA FISHING, INC. in 2017.

Josh Spencer received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. In July 2019, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
