Claire Sykes is an experienced Contract Management Director specializing in the EMEA region at Avaya since September 2018. Sykes manages a diverse contract management team across multiple countries, focusing on talent acquisition, performance management, and escalation resolution. Previous roles include leading contract management improvement initiatives and negotiating strategic agreements at Avaya, as well as heading commercial transformation programs at BT plc. With a strong background in commercial management from various telecommunications companies, including BT Global Services and Syntegra Limited, Sykes has successfully closed complex international business deals and implemented process improvements. Claire holds an MSc in Commercial Management from Alliance Manchester Business School and a BA(Hons) in Law with Accounting from the University of Exeter.
