Roy Dahl

Vice President of Research and Development at RouteSmart Technologies

Roy Dahl has worked in the field of research and development since 1980. Roy began their career as a Teaching Assistant and Lecturer at the University of Maryland. In 1984, they joined Distinct, which later became RouteSmart Technologies, as an Analyst. In 1987, Roy was promoted to Vice President of Research and Development at RouteSmart Technologies. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing and participating in the design and implementation of algorithmic solutions to routing and related challenges faced by the company's clients. Roy also drives the process of generating original ideas and leads brainstorming sessions to encourage their team to develop innovative and creative routing solutions. Roy has also provided expert witness testimony before the Federal Maritime Commission based on their work with ATFI.

Roy Dahl received their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1978. Roy then went on to receive their Master's degree in Operations Research from the University of Maryland in 1982.
