Dave Brown

Dave Brown is the current CEO at ROVE. Dave has held this position since June of 2016. Prior to ROVE, Dave was the President at CDI Southeast from January 2011 to June 2016. During their time as President, Dave was responsible for day to day operations in the region and hyper-growth initiatives and investments to propel the organization to becoming one of the fastest growing and top award winning Solution Providers in the Southeast region.

Before CDI Southeast, Dave Brown was the Area Vice President at EMC Corporation from September 2002 to December 2010. As Area Vice President, Dave was responsible for managing regional P&L and directed sales, engineering and implementation organizations. Dave was also chartered with designing & implementing Private Cloud strategies for clients in the New York / New Jersey region.

Dave Brown's first professional experience was as a Captain in the U.S. Army from June 1996 to August 2002. As a Special Forces Officer, Dave led a Green Beret Detachment and was responsible for leading & training Special Forces ODA (A-Team) for rapid deployment around the world in various wartime and peacetime operations. Additionally, Dave served as a Signal Officer and was responsible for leading communications unit to provide Command and Control resources to the 82nd Airborne Division.

Dave Brown has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The Citadel. Dave also attended The Lovett School.
