Dennis Vanek

Dennis Vanek has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to internal audit, risk management, and controls. Dennis most recently served as the Senior Director of Internal Audit & ERM at Rover.com. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Internal Audit at PACSUN. From 2016 to 2021, Vanek held multiple positions at MediGold, including Chief Risk, Audit and Controls Officer, and Controller. Dennis also worked as an independent contractor providing risk advisory services to local and regional CPA firms. Additionally, Vanek has experience in the non-profit sector, serving as a Member of the Finance Committee for The Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Foundation. Dennis has also held leadership positions in organizations such as the Development Board of Nationwide Children's Hospital. Vanek's earlier experience includes roles at Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, Expedia, The Sports Authority, and PNM Resources. Throughout their career, Vanek has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting regulation, risk management, internal controls, and process improvement.

Dennis Vanek has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in both Accounting and Business Law from Ohio University. Dennis also holds certifications as a Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Certified Public Accountant.
