Varrick Smith

Varrick Smith has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Varrick started their career in 2001 as an Industrial Engineer at the Federal Aviation Administration, where they managed R&D projects and trained security officers. Varrick then worked as a Program and Grant Manager at the Transportation Security Administration from 2008 to 2010.

In 2010, Smith transitioned to Battelle, where they served as a Project Manager until 2016. During their time there, they managed various projects and successfully implemented logistics road maps for cargo screening.

Smith joined The Claridge - a Radisson Hotel in 2017 as a Front Office Specialist before moving on to TEKsystems in 2019. At TEKsystems, they worked as an Instructional Designer, creating training materials and conducting instruction in technology and new hire training.

In 2018, Smith worked as an Opening Manager at Moe's Southwest Grill before joining Nike in 2021. At Nike, they held multiple roles, including Area Manager and Training and Development Coordinator. In these positions, they supported learning labs, coordinated training classes, developed training content, and fostered partnerships.

Most recently, Smith joined RoviSys in 2023 as a Project Manager.

Varrick Smith attended Tennessee State University from 1996 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Aviation/Airway Management and Operations. Following this, from 2003 to 2006, they enrolled in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completed a degree in Aviation Management, specializing in Systems Engineering.
