Position Summary:
Rowe Casa is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at our operations facility in New Boston, TX. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the IT infrastructure across multiple operation buildings within the New Boston area. This role involves desktop/end user support, networking, and the implementation of IT solutions, including reporting, dashboards, and departmental applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, with specific experience in RMM tools, ERP systems, Networking, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, EDI, and Cyber Security.  This position reports to the Chief Information Officer.

Key Responsibilities: Desktop Support & Cyber Security

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring timely and efficient resolution to minimize downtime.

  • Procure, set up, and configure computers, peripherals, and other IT-related equipment for staff according to company standards.

  • Implement and manage Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools to ensure proactive maintenance and support.

  • Oversee the facility’s cyber security measures, ensuring the protection of data and systems, and collaborate with external cybersecurity providers to maintain and update security protocols.

  • Manage projects such as migrating from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 and implementing an active directory environment.

Networking Support

  • Manage and maintain the network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections, across multiple buildings in the New Boston area.
  • Monitor network performance and security, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Departmental Collaboration

  • Work closely with various departments at the New Boston facility to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of reporting tools, dashboards, and other departmental applications.
  • Support ERP system optimization and integration with other business tools.

Systems & Software Experience

  • Demonstrated experience with RMM tools, Active Directory, and other key software.
  • Support the ongoing use and integration of ERP systems, particularly Deacom, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace at the New Boston facility.
  • Manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, ensuring efficient and accurate data exchange with partners.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and fulfillment software such as Ship Station.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in RMM tools, ERP systems, Networking, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, EDI, Active Directory, and Cyber Security.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • Typically, Monday through Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm.
  • On call support – After hours support is rarely needed, however our local operations run 6 days a week, Monday – Saturday from 7:30am – 10:30pm (overnight shift will soon be added).
  • Holiday Preparation Period: To ensure our team is fully prepared for the busy holiday shopping season and to effectively manage the increased order volume, we have a vacation blackout period scheduled between November 15th and December 15th.
