Valery Samalazau

Valery Samalazau is an experienced Senior Platform Engineer who has worked at various companies throughout their career. In their most recent role at ROXi, they have been responsible for developing and managing the platform infrastructure.

Prior to that, Valery worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Medium Systems (UK). During their time there, they designed and implemented an ETL solution for an AI/ML data analysis platform. Valery also played a crucial role in ensuring the availability of services for a large AWS client, where they created a standardized application deployment platform and automated the deployment of Docker applications.

Valery has also worked as a DevOps Engineer at AlgoSec, where they established and maintained CI/CD processes across multiple teams and locations. In addition, they worked as a DevOps Consultant at Lerigos Capital, LLC, where they designed and implemented trading pattern recognition and predictive market analysis systems.

In previous roles at Total Games, IAC, Melsoft, EPAM Systems, and Soyuz Komplekt Avto Trans, Valery gained experience in building CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, managing infrastructure, and implementing monitoring and configuration management solutions.

Throughout their career, Valery has utilized a variety of technologies and tools, including AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Docker, Ansible, Zabbix, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Puppet, Nginx, PostgreSQL, Redis, and PowerShell DSC. Their expertise has contributed to the success of numerous projects and helped improve scalability and performance for various organizations.

Valery Samalazau earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Automation Engineering from Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies, where they studied from 2005 to 2012. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including AI Foundations and Operating Kubernetes on IBM Cloud from IBM in March 2021, ICAgile Certified Professional and ICP-Agile Project Management from ICAgile in August 2017, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2021.
