Mattias Hemström

Mattias Hemström has extensive work experience in various design roles. Mattias started working as a Mechanical Designer at Getinge Disinfection AB in 1996, where they were responsible for product development and mechanical engineering. Mattias also took on the role of Customer Support Manager and later became a Product Manager, supporting the European sales organization and designing virtual showrooms.

In 2001, Hemström worked as a Project Manager at Sikroma AB, specializing in integrated product development and providing consulting services in product design and project management.

From 2006 to 2013, they worked as the Creative Director and Founder at TerraNet AB, focusing on industrial design, end-user experience, and conceptual designs. Mattias was also responsible for company branding and graphic material.

Hemström joined Accus AB in 2015 as a Designer, combining graphic design with industrial design, architecture, and branding. Mattias worked there until 2018.

In 2018, they started working at Roxtec Group as a Graphic & Industrial Designer and later transitioned into the role of an Application Engineer & Industrial Design in 2019, where they are currently employed.

Additionally, Hemström runs their own design agency and project studio, Formbyrå Hemström, which they started in 2006. The agency focuses on industrial and graphic design, with additional expertise in illustration, interior design, interaction design, and art.

During the period of 1992 to 1994, Mattias Hemström pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Växjö University. Following this, from 2002 to 2005, they enrolled at Malmö University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Industrial Design. Later, in 2005 to 2006, they attended Leksand FHS to further develop their skills in design visualization and arts.
