Tanya Bateman has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources. Tanya started their career as an HR Consultant at the Department of Health and Department of Housing & Regional Development in 1995. Tanya later worked as an HR Manager at the Department of Defence from 1999 to 2001. Tanya then moved on to work as a Human Resources Project Manager at Mayne Health & Logistics / Australian Hospital Care in 2000 and as a Human Resources Consultant at Mercy Health and Aged Care from 2001 to 2002. Tanya then joined the University of Melbourne Education Enterprise as a Human Resources Manager, where they provided strategic HR advice and managed a team of HR professionals. Tanya worked at Waterman Group as an HR Expert and HR Business Partner in 2008, where they established HR infrastructure and managed various HR functions. From 2009 to 2017, they held multiple roles at Supreme Group, including Group Organisational Development & Rewards Manager, Group Compensation & Benefits Manager, and HR Manager - Retail. During their time at Supreme Group, Tanya developed HR strategies, managed the HR lifecycle, and led cultural change and transition management. In 2015, they joined Whitbread as the Head of Human Resources, where they created an HR strategy for the GCC, India, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia, and developed talent management and team organization strategies. Prior to their current role, Tanya worked at Kantar as the Head of Human Resources & Business Partner, Middle East, where they led the HR function through post-acquisition strategies and implemented global programs and policy revisions for corporate alignment. Currently, Tanya is the Head Of Human Resources at Roy Morgan starting in 2022.
