Karen Grayson

Karen Grayson currently serves as the Senior Manager for Diversity & Inclusion at the Royal Academy of Engineering, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Karen was the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Manager at Citizens Advice from December 2020 to June 2023, and a Trustee at Hear Us (Croydon) from January 2020 to May 2021. A distinguished career at the Equality and Human Rights Commission spanned over thirteen years, where positions included Policy Principal, leading policy initiatives on the Domestic Abuse Bill and access to justice strategy, and contributing to the Commission’s Strategic Plan as Head of Corporate Policy. Early career experiences included roles at Transport for London and the Greater London Authority, focusing on policy development and scrutiny. Educationally, Karen holds an MSc in Public Policy from UCL and a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Oxford.
