Ben Evans

Ben Evans is an experienced Audio Operations Manager at the Royal Albert Hall since June 2018, responsible for overseeing audio requirements for events in the Main Auditorium and additional performance spaces. Previously, Ben served as Audio Project Manager during the Hall's transition to in-house audio services, significantly enhancing audio solutions for over 400 annual events. With a diverse background in audio production, Ben worked as a freelance Production Sound Engineer and held notable positions such as Head of Sound for various West End musicals, Senior Sound Technician at Shakespeare's Globe, and Technical Manager for Brenda Edwards. Educationally, Ben holds a BA (Hons) in Stage Management and Technical Theatre from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and A-Levels from Truro and Penwith College, covering Electronics and Theatre Studies.
