Julie Helwig

Julie Helwig has extensive experience in communications, currently serving as a Communications Advisor for the Government of Alberta since December 2023 and as a Communications Officer at the Royal Alberta Museum since October 2022. Previous roles include Writer and Communications Administrator for the Government of Alberta from May 2016 to September 2022, and Social Media Manager at Small Town Girl Promotions from August 2021 to September 2022. Additional experience includes an Internal Communications Coordinator position at the University of Alberta and a Judicial Law Clerk role at Edmonton Law Courts. Julie Helwig holds a Certificate in Public Relations from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Grant MacEwan University.
