Jamie Hood

Conservator at Royal Armouries Museum

Jamie Hood is an experienced conservator with a strong background in the care and conservation of museum collections. Currently serving as a conservator at the Royal Armouries Museum since January 2020, Jamie previously held the position of Senior Conservator for Collections Move Projects at The British Museum from April 2016 to January 2020. Earlier roles include conservator positions at the National Army Museum and The British Museum, as well as experience with Paine and Stewart Ltd and the Royal Armouries. Jamie Hood holds a BA (Hons) in Conservation and Restoration from the University of Lincoln, completing the degree in 2006.
