Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan is a highly experienced medical professional with a robust background in emergency medicine and medical administration. Currently serving as the Director of Medical Services and Director of Emergency Medicine at Epworth since January 2016, Matt Ryan is also a Fellow at the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine. As a Clinical Associate Professor at Deakin University, Matt Ryan focuses on medical education, particularly in emergency medicine and critical care. Additionally, Matt Ryan provides forensic medical services and custodial medical services through roles at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine and Victoria Police Force, respectively. With academic credentials including a Master's in Forensic Medicine and a Master's in Health Services Management from Monash University, along with a Diploma of Management from Victoria University, Matt Ryan continues to contribute to the fields of emergency medicine and forensic medicine through various professional roles and educational commitments.
