Karen Petersen

Karen Petersen is an accomplished Event Manager specializing in Artistic Programming at Southbank Centre since February 2012, where expertise spans across various art forms including dance, contemporary and classical music, and literature. Currently serving as a Board Member for Mimbre Acrobats, and a Stage Manager at Royal Opera House, Karen's previous roles include Producer for LOST DOG DANCE LIMITED and Artists' Relationship Manager for the Twin Peaks UK Festival. With extensive experience in artist management at NME from 2012 to 2018, Karen has liaised with notable performers including Kasabian and Dua Lipa. Educational background includes a BA in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from the University of Roehampton and a stint at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
