Richard Soper

Richard Soper has extensive experience in leadership roles within pension schemes and the transportation sector. Since April 2004, Richard has served as Chair of FirstGroup Pension Scheme Trustee Limited and currently holds similar positions at the FirstBus Retirement Savings Plan and The Royal Opera House Pension Scheme. Richard is also a Director at the South Hampshire Bus Operators' Association and Intraserve Limited, along with serving as Vice Chair of the Trustee Board at Lancaster University Students' Union. Previous roles include Strategic Development Director for FirstGroup plc and Managing Director at both First Manchester Limited and First Hampshire & Dorset Limited. Richard holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature & Philosophy from Lancaster University and an MA (with Merit) in Art History from The Open University.
