Karen Sheriff

Karen Sheriff is an experienced healthcare professional specializing in performance medicine, currently serving as the Head of Healthcare at The Royal Ballet School since November 2016. Previously, Karen held various roles, including Specialist Physiotherapist at the National Centre for Circus Arts, where responsibilities included the welfare of performers and lecturing on treatment practices. Notable experiences include serving as Lead Physiotherapist for BBC's "Tumble" and providing care for professional dancers and circus performers during the London 2012 Olympics. With a solid foundation in physiotherapy, including a Master's degree from King's College London, Karen has also worked in diverse settings, from Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to military rehabilitation, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of musculoskeletal and performance-related physiotherapy.
