Christine Armstrong

Christine Armstrong is an experienced professional in employee engagement and arts development. Currently serving as the Manager of Employee Engagement at RBC since August 2022, Christine previously held significant roles including Board Member at the National Arts Centre from March 2017 to August 2022, where fundraising and strategic campaign initiatives were key responsibilities. As Co-Founder and Co-Chair of Creative Calgary from June 2017 to June 2022, Christine successfully led efforts to significantly increase municipal arts funding. Additionally, Christine worked as an Impact Specialist at Calgary Arts Development, focusing on community consultation processes for arts strategy development, and served as Community Relations Manager at Business / Arts, managing programs that engaged the Canadian business community. Christine holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Organizational Leadership from McGill University and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Ottawa.
