Eddy Ortiz

Eddy Ortiz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and technology strategy at RBC. Currently serving as VP of Innovation & Solution Acceleration since November 2014, Eddy leads the Innovation Lab in Orlando, FL, focusing on blockchain initiatives and emerging payment solutions, including the development of Canada's first AI-based banking solution, Nomi. Prior to this role, Eddy held positions as Head of Mobile Payments Innovation, where the first cloud-based payments solution in North America was deployed, and Head of Digital Strategy, overseeing the Online and Mobile Banking strategy. Eddy holds credentials from FICB and has studied at York University.
