Steven Tian Yu, MBA CFA FRM, currently serves as the Head of Credit Derivatives Technology at RBC, where responsibilities include leading the development of an end-to-end Credit Derivatives Trading system. Prior experience includes roles such as Head of Market Risk Technology at BNY Mellon, where Steven managed a 40-person IT team, and Senior IT Manager at Capital One, overseeing high-profile projects in capital markets. Additional roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, MetLife, AT&T, Village Networks, and Lucent Bell Labs reflect a comprehensive background in risk management, IT development, and software engineering. Steven earned an MBA in Finance and Quantitative Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and holds MS and BS degrees in Computer Science and Biophysics, respectively.
