Deji Olaniyi

Deji Olaniyi serves as the Head of School Admissions Place Planning & Capital Projects at the Royal Borough of Greenwich, where responsibilities include the planning and commissioning of education places and facilities, ensuring fair access to education for children. With a rich background in educational capital projects management, Deji has previously held various roles, including School Place Planning & Capital Commissioning Manager and Children's Capital Commissioning Manager, culminating in managing a commissioning portfolio budget of approximately £100 million. Prior to this, Deji contributed to environmental management as the Head of Environmental Monitoring for Environmental Resources Managers Limited and as a Country Expert for the World Bank audit of the West Africa Gas Project. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science from King's College London and two Master's degrees in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University.
