Leo Fletcher

Deputy Mayor at ROYAL BOROUGH OF GREENWICH

Leo Fletcher is the current Deputy Mayor at ROYAL BOROUGH OF GREENWICH. Prior to this, they were a Co-Founder at London Community Land Trust and a Board Member at MERIDIAN HOME START LIMITED. Leo has also served as the Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Leo has played an instrumental role in the establishment of Greenwich’s first Community Land Trust (CLT). Greenwich Citizen Housing is part of the London Community Land Trust, and their mission is to build quality homes, priced to local incomes to be accessible to local people.

As a Board Member at MERIDIAN HOME START LIMITED, Fletcher has developed a clear client-side perspective to the built environment industry. Leo's duties as a board member include reviewing and evaluating the threats and risks relating to the company objectives, advising on strategic options, making recommendations on development schemes and advising on the political considerations.

Leo Fletcher has a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Coventry University. Leo also has certification from the Royal Town Planning Institute in Local plans: policy and practice.
