Robert Pinchen

Robert Pinchen currently serves as a Council Member at NHBC and a Committee Member for WG24 COPOLCO within the International Organization for Standardization. Since November 2013, Robert has held roles as Senior Trading Standards Officer and LALO - Emergency Responder at the Royal Borough of Greenwich, alongside being a First Aider at Work. Additionally, Robert acts as the UK Consumer Representative for Standards on Nanotechnologies at BSI. Previously, Robert was the National Council Member - London Representative at the Chartered Trading Standards Institute and Vice-Chair at the Institute of Consumer Affairs. Robert's past leadership includes Chair of the London Branch and Vice Chair of the Greater London Branch at the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, and Clerk at The Guild of Young Freemen. As a UK Delegate at the EU Commission - DG SANCO, Robert specialized in product safety and market surveillance. Robert's experience in product safety includes a prior role as Chair of the Product Safety Group at London Trading Standards. Robert attained education from Imperial College London from 1997 to 2001.
