Tracy Simmons

Tracy Simmons is an experienced Project Manager and Chartered Building Surveyor currently serving as the Senior Project Manager (DEFRA Capital Lead) at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, since September 2024, focusing on large-scale capital projects in high-traffic tourist areas. Previously, Tracy worked at English Heritage from November 2018 to September 2024, where responsibilities included the planning and delivery of significant projects such as the feasibility master planning for future phases at the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge and a comprehensive site representation project at Boscobel House. Earlier experience includes serving as a Conservation Building Surveyor at Historic Royal Palaces from January 2000 to November 2018, where project work primarily involved maintaining building fabric to exemplary conservation standards across multiple historic sites. Tracy's career began as an Assistant Surveyor at the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and HSB Partnership South Ltd. Educational credentials include a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and an HND in Building Studies from the University of Wolverhampton.
