Crystal Samborski is an established forensic professional with extensive experience in various roles within forensic science. Since 2007, Crystal has served as a Forensic Quality Assurance Advisor and previously as a Forensic Technologist specializing in Biology Evidence Recovery (DNA) at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Additionally, Crystal has been involved with Firefly Forensics since 1998 as a Forensic Entomology and Anthropology Consultant, focusing on training in forensic entomology and anthropology for police and fire agencies, particularly in evidence collection and interpretation at fire scenes. Crystal also held the position of President of the Fire Investigation Association of Alberta from September 2011 to September 2013. Crystal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Anthropology from the University of Alberta from 1993 to 1997.
