Greg Yanicki has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as Unit Commander for the E Division Criminal Investigation Unit with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police since August 2005. In this role, Greg has led various specialized units, including the Serious Crime Unit, BC Hate Crimes, and the E Division Fugitive Return Program. With a background that includes serving as a Senior Investigative Officer and an Advisory NCO, Greg has specialized in major crime investigations and operational strategy. Previous experience includes positions as a Parole Officer and Correctional Officer with the Correctional Service of Canada, as well as a Park Ranger with Alberta Environmental Protection. Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The University of Lethbridge.
