Alana Stewart

Alana Stewart serves as the Deputy Director of People & Culture and Head of Employee Relations & Policy at the Royal College of Art since December 2022. Previously, Alana held various managerial positions at Transport for London from June 1999 to August 2018, including Service Control Manager and Train Operations Manager, where responsibilities encompassed leading a team of around 190 Train Operators and Duty Managers. Notably, Alana managed the Resilience Project Team, securing £7 million for security improvements while liaising with senior stakeholders and presenting at key forums. Additional roles included Planner/Performance Information Expert, where customer service strategies were developed through data analysis. Alana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management Science from Brunel University of London and a Certificate in Coaching from the International Academy for Professional Development Ltd.
