Anika Mandla is currently serving as a Senior Clinical Policy Officer at the Royal College of General Practitioners since September 2023, focusing on policy, research, and campaigns. Prior to this role, Anika worked as a Science Communications Officer for the HIC-Vac Network at Imperial College London from February 2023 to August 2023, facilitating international collaboration on human infection challenge studies to enhance vaccine development. Between December 2018 and October 2022, Anika was a Senior Research Consultant for the NIHR Global Health Research Unit on Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease at Imperial College London. Anika began their career as a Researcher at IPS Group from November 2017 to August 2018. Anika holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Sciences from UCL (2014-2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Manchester (2011-2014).
