Paul is Chair of the Audit Committee. He was a GP in NE Wales for 30 years and had roles in education,quality improvement, governance, medical management, and primary care development. He was chair of RCGP Wales for four years and is currently Chair of North Wales Faculty. He has been a member of the Patient and Carer Partnership Group and the Ethics committee. He is clinical lead for Choosing wisely Wales and chair of the Academy of Medical Royal colleges in Wales. He is closely involved with a health and educational link between Wales and Lesotho.
