Honarary Treasurer And Communications Lead (east Of Scotland Faculty) at Royal College of General Practitioners

Shawkat Hasan has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Shawkat started their career as a Doctor in the NHS in 2003 and held various roles within the organization, including NHS Tayside Appraiser and NHS Tayside Out of Hours GP. In 2014, they joined NHS Tayside and took on roles such as Clinical Lead Out Of Hours Service and Clinical Lead Career Start GP Recruitment. Hasan also had involvement in committees and groups related to end of life care and palliative care. Shawkat has been a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and served as Honorary Treasurer and Communications Lead in the East of Scotland Faculty. Additionally, they have held roles as a Medical Advisor for the RNLI and as a GP Educational Supervisor and Foundation Educational and Clinical Supervisor for NHS Education for Scotland.
