Michiel de Bruijn

Michiel de Bruijn is an experienced corporate development professional currently serving as Corporate Development Manager (M&A) at Royal Cosun since September 2024. Previously, Michiel held the role of Global M&A Manager at AAK from July 2016 to September 2024, where responsibilities included managing the M&A pipeline, preparing opportunities for the Executive Committee, and overseeing post-acquisition integration. Michiel also advanced AAK's strategic sales and business development as Global Strategic Sales and Business Development Manager, achieving significant revenue growth and fostering relationships at the c-suite level. Earlier roles included Sales Manager positions at Advanced Lipids and a research role at Nestlé Chile. Michiel holds a Master of Science in Innovation and Management from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology and Processing from the same institution, along with additional education from Copenhagen Business School and Nyenrode Business University.
