Suman Ghosh

Suman Ghosh has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Suman has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Royal Furniture Group since December 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Regional Finance Head at AMICO Group from April 2019 to November 2019. From 2013 to 2019, they held the position of Head Finance and Accounts at Jumbo Electronics Company Limited (LLC), where they played a key role in implementing the group's 20-20 Strategy Plan and launching the E-Commerce Platform. Before that, they worked as the Head of Finance & Accounting at Saud Bahwan Group LLC from 2006 to 2013, where they achieved significant cost savings through negotiations with banks and implemented the WPS system. Suman also has experience working at GILLETTE (India Mfg Operations) as the Financial Planning & Cost Accounting Manager, at GILLETTE INDIA LTD as the Financial Analyst Braun Division, Asst Mgr Financial Planning, at HCL-HewlettPackard as an Executive Accounts, and at PriceWaterhouse Coopers as an Audit Assistant.

Suman Ghosh has a diverse education history. Suman first attended Assembly Of God Church School in Kolkata from 1972 to 1984, where they completed their High School education with a focus on Business/Commerce and General Mathematics. Suman then enrolled at The Assembly of God Church School in Kolkata from 1985 to 1987 and earned their ICSE & ISC degree with a concentration in Commerce and Pure Mathematics.

In 1987, Suman Ghosh pursued higher education at St. Xavier's College in Kolkata, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM Hons) degree specializing in Management & Financial Accounting, Costing, and Finance. After completing their bachelor's degree, they attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1991 to 1994 and obtained an Associate's degree in Financial Management, Financial Accounting, and Auditing.

Continuing their education in the field of accounting, Suman Ghosh attended the Institute of Cost Accountants of India from 1996 to 1998, earning a CMA degree. During this period, they studied Costing, Company Laws, and Management Accounting.

In 2018, Suman Ghosh pursued further professional development and enrolled at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Ireland, where they completed a CPA program from 2018 to 2019. This program provided him with expertise in Strategy, Taxation, and Commercial Laws.

Additionally, Suman Ghosh has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. In November 2019, they completed the "Finance Foundations" and "Investment Evaluation" certifications from LinkedIn. In December 2019, they obtained the certification on "Running a Profitable Business: Calculating Breakeven," also from LinkedIn. In March 2019, they completed the "Running a Profitable Business: Understanding Financial Ratios" certification, also from LinkedIn. Furthermore, Suman Ghosh holds a certification in QMS, obtained from the Malcom Baldridge Institution.
