Chris Mead

Chris Mead is currently the Head of IT Supplier and Contract Management at Royal Mail, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Chris accumulated extensive experience at Aviva from January 2006 to July 2023, serving in various roles including Head of IT Contract Management, IT Contract Management Lead, and Principal Category Manager - IT, among others. Prior experience includes a senior IT development consultant role at City of York Council and lead database developer at North Yorkshire Health Authority. Early career experience includes a position as a Business Systems Analyst at Nestle S.A. Chris holds a BA in Business Information Systems from Nottingham University Business School, earned between 1996 and 2000.
