Iain Richardson

Iain Richardson has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Iain began their career at ANDREW WEIR LTD as an Operations Manager in the Operations/Superintendents Department from 1996 to 1998. Iain then worked at Andrews Survey as a Hydrographic Surveyor from 1998 to 2000. Iain joined Royal Mail in 2000 and held several positions including Operations Manager from 2000 to 2003, Operations Integration Manager - HWDC from 2003 to 2006, and Senior Programme Planner - Automation Programme from 2006 to 2009. Since 2009, they have worked in various roles at Royal Mail, including National Quality Control Manager from 2009 to 2012, Head of Reporting & Analysis from 2011 to 2012, Head of Pipeline Control & Compliance from 2012 to 2014, Head of Digital Design & Operations Lead Parcel Systems from 2014 to 2018, Head of RM Parcels Business Design and Transition from 2018 to 2019, Revenue Protection Director from 2019 to 2020, and currently as the EBB Portfolio Director - Revenue Integrity from August 2020.

Iain Richardson attended University of Plymouth from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a BSc degree in Marine Navigation & Maritime Law. Their studies included Hydrographic Survey, Marine Safety Management, Marine Operations, and Maritime Law. Prior to their university education, they attended Rendcomb College from 1990 to 1992. Iain also completed their secondary education at Churchdown Comprehensive from 1985 to 1990.
