Karen McKay

Karen McKay is the Head of ER/IR Policy at Royal Mail, where responsibilities include overseeing HR governance and leading union negotiations on employee relations policies such as redeployment and redundancy. With extensive experience at Royal Mail since 2003, roles have included Head of Employment Policy, where McKay ensured compliance and alignment of policies for an organization with over 140,000 employees, and IR Manager, focusing on national negotiations. Additionally, McKay served as an HR Business Partner for various central functions within the company. Since December 2016, McKay has been a member of the Board of Trustees for Share Community. McKay holds a 2:1 degree in Pure & Applied Biology from the University of Oxford.
