Jaap Langemeijer

Jaap Langemeijer is a Geophysicist at KNMI - Koninklijk Nederlands Meteorologisch Instituut since October 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Researcher at Deltares from August 2021 to September 2024 and as an ML Engineer at Nike from February 2019 to August 2021, where involvement included building a data science platform for ML production workloads. Jaap also served as a Consultant in Insights & Data at Capgemini and gained research experience through internships at NORSAR and EBN B.V., focusing on seismic data analysis. Jaap holds a Master's degree in Earth Structure and Dynamics, a Pre-master's in Business Informatics, and a Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences, all from Utrecht University.
