Cynthia Roberts Pérez has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of exhibition design, project management, and cultural programming. Cynthia has held roles such as Assistant Vice President of Exhibition Design at the Royal Ontario Museum, Project Lead at the City of Hamilton, Senior Representative at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, Associate and Interpretation and Design Manager at Haley Sharpe Design, Festival Producer and Outreach Manager at Jane's Walk Toronto, Head of Exhibitions at the Museo de Arte Moderno, Architect at Damiron & Asociados, and Exhibition Designer at the International Art Fair (FIART). Throughout their career, Cynthia has demonstrated a strong ability to manage creative projects and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in dynamic and regulated environments. Cynthia also has experience working internationally and across cultures, bringing a unique perspective to their work.
Cynthia Roberts Pérez has a diverse education history spanning multiple disciplines. Cynthia obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree from Universidad Iberoamericana between the years 2002 and 2006. Additionally, they completed their high school education at Colegio Bilingüe New Horizons, receiving a High School Diploma in Information Technology from 1995 to 2001.
Later on, Cynthia pursued further studies at the University of Toronto from 2009 to 2011, earning a Master's degree in Museum Studies (MMSt). During their time at the University of Toronto, they focused on the field of Exhibition Design & Interpretive Planning.
In addition to their formal education, Cynthia has also acquired certifications in Human-Centered Systems Thinking. Cynthia obtained this certification from IDEO U in May 2022.
