Shyam Oberoi

Shyam Oberoi is the Chief Digital Officer at the Royal Ontario Museum. Prior to their current position, they served as the Director of Technology and Digital Media at the Dallas Museum of Art from April 2014 to April 2018. From November 2006 to April 2014, they were the General Manager of Collections Information Services / Digital Media at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Oberoi began their career in September 2005 as the Information Technology Officer at Gabriel & Co. Shyam then became a Principal Software Engineer / DBA at Thor Technologies in May 1995. In May 1993, they started as a Software Developer at the New York City Bar.

Shyam Oberoi has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Manhattan College and a Master's degree in English Language and Literature, General from New York University.
