Sunil Nedungayil currently serves as the Senior Clinical Lead for the Falls and Fragility Fracture Audit Programme at the Royal College of Physicians, beginning in September 2023. With an extensive career spanning over two decades, Sunil has held multiple significant roles, including General Practitioner and Clinical Director at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire. Sunil is actively involved in the NHS England & Improvement's Osteoporosis and Fragility Fracture workstream and serves on the Clinical and Research Committee at the Royal Osteoporosis Society. Earlier experiences include serving as Associate Medical Director for the Northern Health Science Alliance and as an Orthopaedic Surgeon within the NHS. Sunil's educational background includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Government Medical College Thrissur, a DNB in Orthopedics, and a Master's degree from the University of Wales.
