Gwen Campden

Gwen Campden is the staff-elected member of the Board of Governors, serving a term from April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2026.

Campden began working at Royal Roads in 2002, after serving students at Langara College. With a passion for social justice and learning how best to support under-represented students and the people who serve them, she manages the services that help to remove barriers to education; that’s Accessibility Services, Financial Aid & Awards, and Counselling & Learning Strategy.

Campden holds a Master of Arts in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University and a Diploma in Business, Finance, and Investment Management from Langara College. Further education includes training for how to respectfully support students with different backgrounds and abilities, and those with trauma.
