Abeer Arafat

Abeer Arafat has been a vital member of the Royal Scientific Society since December 1994, currently serving as the Senior Assistant to the President for Science Technology & Innovation Liaison since January 2021. Abeer has held various roles within the organization, including Director of External Relations and Manager of Communication and External Affairs, focusing on enhancing national and international relations and securing funding opportunities. Abeer also managed RSS's international relations and knowledge management systems, contributing significantly to attracting external research funding. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Materials) from The American University in Cairo, Abeer possesses a strong technical background, demonstrated through various roles such as Head of R&D Bureau and Lab Engineer.
