Alessandro Coatti

Alessandro Coatti is a Senior Science Policy Officer at the Royal Society of Biology with previous experience as a Scientific Researcher in Neuroscience at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research in Frankfurt. Prior to that, Alessandro worked as a Postgraduate Researcher at University College London and as a Science Policy intern at the Italian Embassy in London. Alessandro also has experience as a Staff Research Associate at the Medical Research Council and conducted MSc and BSc thesis lab projects at Laboratorio di Neurofisiologia, CNR di Pisa. Alessandro holds a Master of Philosophy from UCL, a Master of Science in Molecular Neurobiology from Scuola Normale Superiore, and a Master’s Degree in Molecular Cell Biology & Neuroscience from Università di Pisa.
